Agenda Items <br /> a. Valentine Hills Play Structure <br /> The City has been approached by the Valentine Hills PT A with a request to <br />, contribute $10,000 towards the purchase of a new playground structure at <br /> Valentine Hills Elementary School. The Parks Committee recently reviewed this <br /> request and in light of the various capital improvement needs of the Arden Hills <br />, Parks Department, recommended maximum support to this request of$500. Staff <br /> believes the structure does serve some community and neighborhood needs and a <br /> contribution of $500-$1 000 is appropriate. Staff would ask for Council input in <br />Itt regards to this recommendation. <br /> b. Old Highway #10 Improvements <br />I Ramsey County is proposing to undertake some improvements to Old Highway <br /> #10 this summer. Representatives of Ramsey County will be present to describe <br />, the project to the City Council. As part of the project, staff has several related <br /> issues which should be discussed. The three issues of most critical importance are <br /> watermain replacement, trails and assessment policy. Staff would like to discuss <br />I the project in more depth with the City Council prior to proceeding further. <br /> c. CouncilIDepartment Head Retreat <br />I Enclosed the Council will find a tentative schedule for the Council/Department <br /> Head retreat. I have tentatively scheduled the meeting at the Sheraton, 1330 <br /> Industrial Boulevard, Minneapolis. Staff would like to review the plans for the <br />I retreat and gain any other input or suggestions from the Council. I still have not <br /> located a facilitator for the meeting. <br />I d. 1995 Pre-Audit Results <br /> Mr. Post has completed a preliminary general fund and budget summary for 1995 <br />, and would like to update the Council on the results. A preliminary report is <br /> included for Council review. <br />,. <br />, <br />
