Agenda Items <br /> a. ADDroval of Minutes <br /> I The Council is asked to approve the March 18, 1996 Council Worksession and <br /> March 25,1996, Regular Council Meeting Minutes. <br /> I b. Consent Calendar <br /> 1. Liability Insurance Coverage Chan~es <br /> The Council is asked to approve changes to the General Liability <br /> I Insurance coverage carried by the City. Specifically, the Council is asked <br /> to approve new coverage for Open Meeting Law Defense and change its <br /> election on Excess Liability coverage to not waive the monetary limits on <br /> Ie tort liability established by MN Statutes. <br /> 2. Claims and Pavroll <br /> . The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of $82,662.65 and <br /> payroll for the period most recently ended, The Council may note <br /> I expenditures to Ramsey County for Law Enforcement services. This <br /> expenditure was offset by the credit received for 1995 overpayments for <br /> service, Also included in this claim report is payment of$47,023 to <br /> I Metropolitan Council for wastewater charges. <br /> c. Unfinished and New Business <br /> I 1. Stephen Nelson Variance and Easement Vacation <br /> The Planning Commission has recommended approval of a front yard <br /> setback variance for the construction of a new home at this Sandeen Road <br /> I property. They have also reviewed and approved a vacation of a drainage <br /> and utility easement to accomplish the project. Please review Mr. <br /> Ringwald's memorandum for more information. <br /> . 2. Resolution #96-25. Lift Station #6 Improvements <br /> I The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-25, accepting bid and <br /> authorizing execution of contract in the matter of the lift station #6 <br /> modifications. The Council authorized this project in late 1995 and <br /> it budgeted for it in the 1996 budget. The engineer and Mr. Stafford are not <br /> I <br />
