Approval of Minutes <br /> The Council is asked to approve the minutes from the April 29, 1996 Regular <br /> I Council Meeting. <br /> 4, Consent Calendar <br /> I a. Committee Appointments <br /> The Council may wish to consider appointing two new members to the <br /> Finance Committee. The City has received a number of letters of interest <br /> Ie for these open positions, The Mayor has been in contact with these <br /> individuals and will make a recommendation at the meeting. <br /> . b. Claims and Pavroll <br /> The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of$159,662.02 and <br /> . payroll for the bi-weekly period ended April 26, 1996, The Council may <br /> note the two most significant expenditure items being $47,023,00 to the <br /> Met Council for May sewer processing costs, and $44,352.57.00 to <br /> I Ramsey County for May law enforcement contract costs. <br /> 6. Unfinished and New Business <br /> . a, Pav Estimate #1 - SWM 509 Proiects <br /> Based upon the recommendation of City Engineer, Greg Stonehouse, the <br /> Council is asked to approve pay estimate # I to Jay Brothers, Inc. in the <br /> I amount of $34,353.00, This contract pertains to Surface Water <br /> Management (SWM) 509 projects (Lake Josephine Outlet and Karth Lake <br /> Ravine) being undertaken this year. Mr. Stonehouse will be present at the <br /> I meeting to discuss this agenda item, <br /> b, Adopt Resolutions #96-25a and #96-27a <br /> I As a follow-up to the last meeting, Staff confirmed that New Brighton <br /> City Hall is unavailable for the May 28, 1996 meeting. The action <br /> I- proposed is to amend Resolutions #96-25 and #96-27 to clarify the <br /> location of the Public Hearings, The meeting will be at the New Brighton <br /> Family Services Center. <br /> . <br />
