ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - JUNE 24. 1996 5 <br />. <br /> Councilmember Hicks indicated support as long as the signs are removed immediately when the <br />I bridge is reopened. <br />I Mayor Probst advised that the Council's consensus is to allow the signs to remain in place until <br /> the bridge reopens but then they must be removed. <br />I Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator, advised the City will probably receive a similar request <br /> from another home occupation. Council consensus was reached that a similar request would be <br /> approved under the same restrictions. <br />I A. Extension of OneCoffim Agreement <br />I Mr. Ringwald advised the site plan approval was previously extended for six months and will <br /> expire on June 30, 1996. OneComm has proposed to place transmission antennas at the Red Fox <br /> Road watertower but due to nationwide buildout demands, is requesting another extension to <br />I December 31, 1996. Mr. Ringwald noted that OneComm has offered to commence rent <br /> payments on July I, 1996 at $750 ($862 for the second five years) per month for the first five <br /> years. Mr. Ringwald advised staff recommends approval of Planning Case 95-01 to extend site <br />.. plan approval until December 31, 1996, subject to the original conditions and with payment of <br /> rent commencing on July 1, 1996. <br />I Mayor Probst asked if the previously discussed contract was for five years. Mr. Ringwald <br /> answered affirmatively. <br />I Councilmember Malone asked if this organization has changed hands since the original <br /> application was negotiated. Bill Buell, representing OneComm, advised that C-Call Corporation <br />. is the licensee dba as OneComm. He further explained that C-Call merged with NexTell, making <br /> it a nation-wide company. Councilmember Malone reviewed issues previously discussed to <br /> minimize visual impact and asked if OneComm is proposing the same. Mr. Buell answered <br />I affirmatively. <br /> MOTION: Hicks moved and Malone seconded a motion that approval of Planning Case <br />I #95-0 I be extended until December 31, 1996, subject to the original conditions of <br /> approval and payment of rent commencing on July 1, 1996.
