<br />I f)(ij1~" A '/, <br />I MINUTE~ <br />I- CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, ~1!} <br /> PLANNING COMMISSIO <br /> TUESDAY, JULY 2, 1996 <br />I 7:30 P.M. - NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL <br />I CALL TO ORDER <br />I Acting Chair Nelson called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br />I Present were Acting Chair Nelson, Commissioners David Carlson, Gregg Larson, and <br /> Dave Sand. <br />I Also present were: Councilmember Malone, Community Development Director Kevin <br /> Ringwald, and Recording Secretary Lorri Kopischke. <br />I Absent were Chair Steve Erickson, Commissioners Barbara Piotrowski and Marty Rye. <br />.. APPROVE MINUTES <br /> Sand moved, seconded by Carlson, to approve the June 5, 1996, minutes. The motion <br />I carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> CASE #96-05 PUBLIC HEARING CONTROL DATA AND CSM. 4201 LEXINGTON <br />I AVENUE. PUD & MINOR SUBDIVISION <br />I Acting Chair Nelson gave an overview of the public hearing process, then opened the public <br /> hearing at 7:32 p.m. <br />. Acting Chair Nelson requested verification of the public hearing notice. Community <br /> Development Director, Kevin Ringwald verified notice of the public hearing in the Focus on <br /> June 20 and June 27, 1996. <br />I Mr. Ringwald reported that the applicant is requesting approval of a PUD Master Plan and a <br /> Preliminary Minor Subdivision. The Planning Commission discussed this request in great length <br />I at the June 5, 1996 Planning Commission meeting. At the conclusion of that meeting, the two <br /> items remaining to be resolved were signage and park dedication. The Control Data Corporation <br /> sign (off-premise), which is located on the CSM property, was resolved on June 18, 1996 when <br />I CSM provided the City with their application to join the PUD Master Plan. The park dedication <br /> issue was brought before the Park and Recreation Committee on June 25, 1996 and discussed at <br />~ great length.
