I f)(ij1~" A '/, I MINUTE~ I- CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, ~1!} PLANNING COMMISSIO TUESDAY, JULY 2, 1996 I 7:30 P.M. - NEW BRIGHTON CITY HALL I CALL TO ORDER I Acting Chair Nelson called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. ROLL CALL I Present were Acting Chair Nelson, Commissioners David Carlson, Gregg Larson, and Dave Sand. I Also present were: Councilmember Malone, Community Development Director Kevin Ringwald, and Recording Secretary Lorri Kopischke. I Absent were Chair Steve Erickson, Commissioners Barbara Piotrowski and Marty Rye. .. APPROVE MINUTES Sand moved, seconded by Carlson, to approve the June 5, 1996, minutes. The motion I carried unanimously (4-0). CASE #96-05 PUBLIC HEARING CONTROL DATA AND CSM. 4201 LEXINGTON I AVENUE. PUD & MINOR SUBDIVISION I Acting Chair Nelson gave an overview of the public hearing process, then opened the public hearing at 7:32 p.m. . Acting Chair Nelson requested verification of the public hearing notice. Community Development Director, Kevin Ringwald verified notice of the public hearing in the Focus on June 20 and June 27, 1996. I Mr. Ringwald reported that the applicant is requesting approval of a PUD Master Plan and a Preliminary Minor Subdivision. The Planning Commission discussed this request in great length I at the June 5, 1996 Planning Commission meeting. At the conclusion of that meeting, the two items remaining to be resolved were signage and park dedication. The Control Data Corporation sign (off-premise), which is located on the CSM property, was resolved on June 18, 1996 when I CSM provided the City with their application to join the PUD Master Plan. The park dedication issue was brought before the Park and Recreation Committee on June 25, 1996 and discussed at ~ great length. The Park and Recreation Committee's recommendations were as follows: I
