Approval of Minutes <br /> The Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the August 12,1996 Regular Council <br /> I Meeting, and the August 12 and August 19, 1996 Council Worksessions respectively. <br /> 2. Consent Calendar <br /> I a. Resolution #96-49. Revisinl,! Resolution #96-34(a). Final Assessment Roll <br /> Resultin!! from Settlement (Gene Schmidt Aj;loea)) <br /> The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-34(a), Final Assessment Roll <br /> I Resulting from Settlement. Adoption of this Resolution will finalize the <br /> necessary actions resulting from settlement of this appeal. <br /> .. b. Claims aod Payroll <br /> The Council is asked to approve claims and payroll for the period most recently <br /> ended in the amount of $44,281.66. <br /> I 3. Unfinished and New Business <br /> a. County Road F - Final Pay Estimate <br /> I The Council is asked to approve the Final Pay Estimate in the amount of <br /> $126,326.97 to Midwest Asphalt for the County Road F Reconstruction Project. <br /> I Mr. Stafford has indicated that he supports payment of the full amount, less <br /> $1,200 for restoration to the Valentine Park parking lot. The City will issue a <br /> check in the amount of $89,862.28, and the remainder of the $36,464.69 retainage <br /> I will be released once all necessary documents are received. <br /> b. Resolution #96-48. Supporting- Cooperative Livable Cities Demonstration <br /> I Grant to Metropolitan Council for 1-35W Corridor Coalition Planninl,! <br /> Activities <br /> The Council is asked to adopt Resolution #96-48, Supporting Cooperative <br /> I Liveable Cities Demonstration Grant to Metropolitan Council for I-35W Corridor <br /> Coalition Planning Activities. The final grant amount being requested was <br /> unknown at the time I prepared this memorandum. I expect the requested amount <br /> I to be available on Monday. These funds would be used to assist with a variety of <br /> activities including a traffic study of I-35W, GIS, and other planning needs. This <br /> it is a joint application between the Coalition Cities, and should not have any <br /> matching fund requirements if awarded. <br /> I <br />
