The Lake Johanna Vol. Fire Dept. has decided to change the demeusions ofthe parking lot as <br /> follows: We are proposing to cut two (2) feet off the north side of the parking lot, also we would <br /> remove two parking stalls on the northwest corner of the lot, which would be returned to grass area. <br /> In addition we are proposing to cut thirty one (31) feet off tbe east side of the parking lot area. <br />I This would change the setbacks distance as shown on the map from four (4) feet to six (6) feet on the <br /> north side. The setback distance on the East side would change from nine (9) feet to forty (40) feet. <br />I We are also proposing to add two (2) additional parking spaces to the southwest corner of the <br /> existing parking lot, we woutd then install a surmountable curb in this area to a1tow access to the <br /> building and also help channel all water from upper parking lot to the catch basin. <br />.. Landscaping plan will also be revised to the following: on tbe north property line we are proposing <br /> to plant three sprnce trees in place of the liIac shrubs. on the east property line we would like to <br /> have 100% screening, to accomplish this we will plant additional blue spruce trees as needed. <br />I In addition, we are proposing to widen the lower portion of the driveway to the required 24 feet. the <br /> lower portion is defined as the beginning of the downhill slope to the bottom of the bill at the <br />I parking lot entrance. We would like to keep the initial portion of the driveway at its current width <br /> to allow us to keep three mature trees. <br /> Please distribute the enclosed package to Arden Hills Mayor and Council members.
