Ringwald, - The purpo~ ufthe nfW p:..trking lot~ lotated On the North E3.st c.orner of the Fire Department property is primarily for overflow parking. Our Fire Dept. is. c.omprised of four stations and approx. 70 Firefighters. Our Dept. holds a monthly meeting Mce a month, whit.b. rotates hetween I stations 1,2, and 3. We also hold 5 training Sessions t:l. month, that also rotates as previously stated. During the month there is also Officer.'!. meetings, Engineers meetings, and various committee meeting.5. .Also Two months a year. ,qtation 1 i:-; u:icd for FireFighter" 1&2C1a_'i.~s(Rookic &:hoot) which totals 12 classes. The Firefighter 1&2 clas~es are generaII)' very-large and requires alot of I parking 'paces. The Fire DCpl_ also teachc, classes for groop' like lhe YMCA on CPR. Be-cause of the: siLe of out Fire Dept. and the Various ru:ti...itic_~ that \'tC are iavoh'c.d in the parking lot is a ne,es.sity, we have used that space for pa.rking for the last 30 years, we are now I trying to impnn-'e the appearance of the lot b)- black topping ~ C\l.rbing and an enviromentally safe 'Water run off catch basin to pnvc.nt OUf pond from being contaminated.
