<br />I' <br /> City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br />1 <br />" Administrator where a copy shall be kept posted and available for public inspection <br /> during business hours. Notice of the existence of such regulation and its availability for <br />1 inspection at the clerk's office shall be conspicuously posted at the front of the City Hall <br />1 or other headquarters of the Cily and at such other places in the affected area as the <br />I mayor shall designate in the proclamation. The regulation shall take effect immediately <br /> upon posting or at such later time as may be specified in the proclamation. By like <br />I proclamation the mayor may modify or rescind any such regulation. <br />I <br /> C. Expiration. The Council may rescind any emergency regulation by resolution at any <br />. time. If not sooner rescinded, every such regulation shall expire at the end of thirty (30) <br />Ie days after its effective date or at the end of the civil defense emergency. <br />I D. Conflict. Any provision of this Code or City ordinance, rule or regulation <br />. inconsistent with an emergency regulation promulgated by the mayor shall be suspended <br />I during the period of time and to the extent that such conflict exists. <br />I E. Extraordinary Acts During Emergency. During a civil defense emergency the City <br />I is, notwithstanding any statutory or charter provision to the contrary, empowered, <br /> through its governing body acting within or without the corporate limits of the City, to <br />I enter into contracts and to incur obligations necessary to combat such disaster by <br />I protecting the health and safety of persons and property, and providing emergency <br />.- assistance to the victims of such disaster. The City may exercise such powers in the light <br />. 2 - 35 <br />
