<br /> I <br /> City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br /> I <br /> ~ I. Comprehensive Municipal Plan. The Planning Commission shall prepare the <br /> I City's comprehensive municipal plan, periodically review the plan and make <br /> recommendations to the City Council regarding adoption or amendment of the plan. <br /> I <br /> I 2. Public Property. The Planning Commission shall review the proposed public <br /> acquisitions and disposals of real property and proposed public improvements to real <br /> I property and shall advise the City Council in writing whether such acquisitions, <br /> I disposals or improvements are in compliance with the city's comprehensive <br /> municipal plan. Failure of the Planning Commission to report on the proposal within <br /> I forty-five (45) days (Note: There was a question after this forty-five day <br /> Ie requirement, but it did not specify the concern) after referral by the City Councilor <br /> I within such other reasonable period as may be designated by the City Council shall <br /> be deemed to have satisfied this review requirement. The City Council may, by <br /> I resolution adopted by an affirmative vote of four (4) Councilmembers, dispense with <br /> I this review requirement if in its judgment the City Council determines that such <br /> proposal has no relationship to the City's Comprehensive Municipal Plan. <br /> I <br /> I 3. Public Hearings. The Planning Commission shall conduct public hearings as <br /> I required by state law or the provisions, of this Code. <br /> I 4. Appeals from Administrative Decisions, The Planning Commission shall hear <br /> fI and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is an error in any order, <br /> I 2 - 15 <br />
