I met with staff <br /> I earlier this month for the purpose of reviewing these concepts and receiving their input as to the <br /> accomplishments of the existing committees. <br /> I Please give consideration to the opportunities we have as a City Council to energize the <br /> committees and citizens of Arden Hills. The concept of a restructured committee program <br /> should not be construed by the City Council to be an abandonment of our current committee <br /> I structure. Rather, the opportunity exists to fine tune our system with a process which clarifies <br /> the priorities and goals of the City. <br /> Ie It is based upon these goals, that I proposed the committees to be re-tooled. The Committees and <br /> Task Forces I have proposed are not intended to be the final list. Only after careful evaluation of <br /> the comments included in the community survey, feedback as part of the Town Hall meeting, and <br /> I final discussions during the CouncillDepartment Head retreat, would I propose a recommended <br /> committee structure.
