<br /> . <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> Ordinance No 300 <br /> An ordinance relating to the <br /> regulation of dogs, cats, <br /> and wild animals. <br /> The Council of the City of Arden Hills ordains that Chapter 5.5, <br /> its articles, sections and subdivisions is hereby added to the <br /> Arden Hills Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> CHAPTER 5.5 <br /> ARTICLE I. DOGS <br /> SEC. 5.5-l. DEFINITIONS. The following definitions shall be <br /> . used in the application and interpretation of the provisions of <br /> this Chapter: <br /> (a) Dog shall mean any species of the Canis familiaris of <br /> animals. <br /> (b) Commercial Dog Kennel shall mean a structure specifically <br /> designed and commercially used for the harboring of three <br /> (3)or more dogs that are more than three (3 ) months old. <br /> (c) Residential Dog Kennel shall mean a structure <br /> specifically designed and residentially used for the <br /> harboring of up to three (3 ) dogs that are more than <br /> three (3) months old. <br /> (d) Owner shall mean any person, firm or corporation owning, <br /> harboring or keeping a dog. (Ord. No, 198, 1, 6-27-77) <br /> (e) At Large shall mean that the dog is off the property of <br /> its owner and not effectively restrained by the use of a <br /> chain or leash. <br /> (f) Nuisance shall mean any dog which habitually or <br /> frequently barks or crys; frequents schoolgrounds; parks <br /> or public beaches; chases vehicles; molests or annoys any <br /> person away from the property; is repeatedly at large; or <br /> attacks other animals. <br /> . <br />
