These <br /> fees are to be established from time to time by the City Council in <br /> the fozm of a Resolution. <br /> <br /> Most of these fees are included in the recently approved Contract with <br /> Animal Control Services, Inc. However, there are several items <br /> identified in the Resolution which were not detailed in the contract. <br /> Those included: <br /> <br /> <br /> 1. Itrmaundonent = n RM=S <br /> $10.00 $20.00 <br /> <br /> This fee was last increased in 1987. ACSI has indicated that rrost <br /> other cities chaxge a$25.00 fee for impounding. <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. Licensina = Clasrent oPr ~s~ <br /> $zs.oo\a Yr. $lo.oo\l year <br /> <br /> This change was recommended by the City Council at its July 21, 1994 <br /> worksession meeting. The rationale for the change was to be rrore <br /> consistent with the rabies vaccination requirements. <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. Resideatial Dog Kemel License = Current Pr~ <br /> - 0 - $10.00\1 year <br /> <br /> The City currently has no dog kennel license fee. This fee is not for <br /> a kennel structure itself, but for dwelling units with three (3) dogs. <br /> <br /> Recgomendatiozi <br /> Staff would recomnend that the City Council appprove Resolution #94-49 <br /> which establishes fees for animal control. <br />
