(6 ) Any skunk, raccoon or fox whether captured in the <br /> wild, domestically raised, descented or not <br /> descented, vaccinated against rabies or not <br /> vaccinated against rabies. <br /> ( 7) Any bear, ape! gorilla, monkey (except as exempted <br /> by this ordinance), or badger. <br /> (8) Any Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. <br /> (9) Any other animal or reptile which is commonly <br /> considered wild and not domesticated or prohibited <br /> by Federal or Minnesota Law. <br /> SEC. 5.5-2. RUNNING AT LARGE-DOGS; CONTROL. No owner or <br /> keeper of any dog, whether licensed or unlicensed, shall permit <br /> such dog to run at large. It shall be the obligation and <br /> responsibility of the owner or custodian of any dog in the City, <br /> whether permanently or temporarily therein, to prevent any such dog <br /> at any time to be on any street, public park, school grounds, or <br /> public place without being effectively restrained by a chain or <br /> . leash not exceeding eight (8) feet in length. (Ord. No. 198, 3-28- <br /> 94) <br /> SEC. 5.5-3. OWNER TO CLEAN UP AFTER DOG. Any owner having <br /> custody or control of any dog in a public place shall be <br /> responsible for cleaning up any feces of the animal and for <br /> disposing of such feces in a sanitary manner; and shall have in <br /> their possession of a device or equipment for picking up and <br /> removal of animal feces. The provisions of this Section shall not <br /> apply to a guide dog accompanying a blind person or to a dog when <br /> used in police or rescue activities. <br /> SEC. 5.5-4. OWNER TO PREVENT NUISANCES. The owner or <br /> custodian of any dog shall prevent the dog from committing in the <br /> City any act which constitutes a nuisance. <br /> SEC. 5.5-5. HABITUAL HOWLING AND BARKING DOGS UNLAWFUL. <br /> An owner having custody and/or control of a dog shall prevent it <br /> . from barking, howling, whining, or making other noises which <br /> unreasonably disturbs the peace and quiet of any person. <br /> e <br />
