The marked up copy of Ordinance 300. <br /> <br /> After we spoke on the phone, I realized that the City's <br /> curr•ent Animal and Pet Regulations consisted of Chapter 5 from the <br /> Code and Ordinance No. 295 which was recently adopted. <br /> In trying to splice those two existing documents together with <br /> a proposed new ordinance which effectively amended part of the <br /> existing text and part of Ordinance 295, it became apparent that an <br /> overall revision would be more appropriate for the sake of clarity. <br /> Therefore, the enclosed proposal is for the City to adopt <br /> Chapter 5.5 which would have its own numbering system and to repeal <br /> all of existing Chapter 5 as it exists in the text and as amended <br /> by Ordinance 295.
