This <br /> included: <br /> l. Tiqhtening of Runnina at Lazue - Docrs. This new language is in <br /> better con-pliance with court tested language arid provides our <br /> animal control officer with more identifiable regulations. <br /> <br /> 2. Habitual Howling and Barkinq Dpqs. Same as Z <br /> <br /> 3. Cats - It is proposed to add a special section on Cats which would <br /> require licensure and discourage nuin.ing at large. <br /> 4. Kennels - Animal Control recotmended new language under Division <br /> 4. which would strengthen our kennel ord.inauice. This language <br /> shall amng other things limit the rnunber of dogs to 3. <br /> <br /> 5. E~cotic Animals - this is a new section for the ordinance. Several <br /> . cities in recent years have found it necessazy to respond to <br /> exotic animal requests. This section would eliminate almost all <br /> animals but domesticated dogs and cats. <br /> These proposed changes may appear to be quite lengthy and detailed; <br /> however, many neighboring cities have similar ordinances so this <br /> language is not the exception. <br /> <br /> BF:to <br />
