Attachment A <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Between <br />The City of Arden Hills <br />And <br />I.O.U.E. Local No. 49 <br />This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be entered into between the International Union of <br />Operating Engineers, Local 49 (Union) and the City of Arden Hills (Employer) regarding the new "Lead <br />Worker" position in the Parks Department, effective January 1, 2025. <br />It is hereby understood and agreed to between the parties that the following shall apply: <br />1. Eligibility and Selection: <br />o Selection will be based on an interview process to ensure candidates possess the <br />necessary qualifications and experience. <br />2. Supervision: <br />o The Lead Worker will report to and be supervised by the Public Works <br />Superintendent. <br />3. Position Details: <br />o The role will adhere to the established job description (which will be attaGhed to the <br />MQU is available upon request by Employee and retained on file with Employer). <br />o The wages and classification for the position will be included in Appendix A <br />of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). <br />This Memorandum of Understanding shall be in effect until December 31, 2027. In addition, it is understood <br />that this Memorandum of Understanding may be extended by mutual agreement by both parties.
