<br /> MINUTES OF THE ARDEN HILLS REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 1989 - 7:30 P.M., CITY HALL <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Sather <br /> called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. <br /> ROLL CALL The roll being called, the following members were <br /> present: Mayor Thomas Sather, Councilmembers JoAnn <br /> Growe, Nancy Hansen, Thomas Mahowald and Paul Malone. Also present: <br /> Clerk Administrator Gary Berger, City Attorney Jerry Filla, City Planner <br /> John Bergly and Administrative Secretary Mary Ann DeLaRosa. <br /> ADOPT AGENDA Councilmember Malone moved, seconded by Councilmember <br /> Hansen to adopt the agenda as submitted. Motion <br /> carried~ (5-0). <br /> APPROVE MINUTES Councilmember Hansen moved, seconded by Councilmember <br /> Malone to approve the September 18 Budget minutes, <br /> September 25 Regular minutes and October 2 Special minutes as submitted. <br /> Motion carried, (5-0). <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR Councilmember Mahowald moved, seconded by Council- <br /> member Growe, to approve the Consent Calendar for the <br /> October 10 meeting and authorize execution of all necessary documents <br /> contained therein: <br />. a. Acknowledgement of PCA fact sheet on Arsenal. <br /> b. Acknowledgement of League of Minnesota Cities notice on truth in <br /> taxation. <br /> c. Acknowledgement of hazardous waste storage and treatment permits for <br /> rCAAP. <br /> d. Acknowledgement of Ramsey County home rule charter materials. <br /> e. Approval of the list of claims and payroll. <br /> Motion carried, (5-0). <br /> HEARING, SHARMA Mayor Sather opened the meeting for the purpose of a <br /> EASEMENT public hearing to consider the vacation of a drainage <br /> VACATION and utility easement, noting that the request had been <br /> withdrawn by the applicants, Mr. and Mrs. Raghu <br /> Sharma. Mayor Sather then closed the public hearing at 7:33 P.M. No <br /> Council action was taken. <br /> RV PARKING Council acknowledged receipt of a memorandum from CSO <br /> Dick Cieminski, who had responded to a Council request <br /> for a survey of surrounding cities' ordinances relative to parking/storage <br /> of recreational vehicles in residential districts. Councilmember Malone <br /> asked Attorney Filla if he had reviewed the survey and if he thought Arden <br /> Hills' ordinances were more restrictive than other cities regulations and <br /> also if the survey response applied to Arden Hill's concerns. Malone <br /> noted he is not particularly interested in amending the City's ordinance, <br /> and suggested that this matter be referred to the Planning Commission. <br />. City Attorney Filla indicated that he would also research this matter. <br /> Malone moved, seconded by Growe to forward this matter to the Planning <br />
