Building 116 – Overview <br />TGRS was established to treat <br />groundwater in 1989 <br />The BGRS captures groundwater <br />contaminated with volatile organic <br />compounds (VOCs) at the <br />southwestern boundary of the RCC <br />site <br />BGRS extraction wells along the <br />southwestern property line send <br />water through a network of pipes <br />to Building 116, which houses the <br />groundwater treatment system <br />Treated water is then piped and <br />discharged to a gravel pit to the <br />east of RCC located on the Arden <br />Hills Army Training Site (AHATS)
