CHywlde Devalopment Moratorium'; t. 7he City of Arden Hills is conducting studies aad will hold pablic hearings for the purpose of considgr' ing comprebensive amendments to its zoning' regulations. . 2. Pending the completion of public hearings and tite. edoption of amendments to its zoning regufations, the Arifen Hills City Council has determined that it would be in the publids interest to impose a Development ' Moratonum on all property within the City of Arden Hills. 3. There is hereby imposed a Develapritent Moretorium pursuant to the ravisions of MS 462.355, Subd. 4, on ell property within the City of Arden Hills. During the period of the Maratorium, the development of property shall be restricted as follows: a. property sha1Y not be subdivided. b. new -structwes shall not be constructe0 on property. - c. building additions to existing structures and ex- pansions of existing uses on property shall not be allow- ed unless the addition or expansion is in wmPliance with !he proppseA emendmeMS to the City's zoning regulations as determined by the City Counct-. d, a construction xtiviry within an ezisting structure, which would not othenvise require City CounCil review, will be allowed provided that such improvements are undenaken in compliance with th9 current. zoning - regulations anB the propased amendments thereto. 4. The Development Moratorium shall commence on the day fallowing the publication of tbis-Ordinance and shall continue until the 29th day of July, 1993, or until the Arden Hills City Council takes further action to alter the term of the Development Moralorium as ft relates to specific development proposals or parcels, . whichever eveM xcurs tirst.
