CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE SUMMARY <br />GATEWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT <br /> <br /> <br />On September 10, 1990 the Arden Hills City Council approved <br />Ordinance No. 270 which amends Sections V.B, V.E., V.F.; and adds <br />Sections V.D.(9) and VIII.H. and its subdivisions to Appendix A <br />of the zoning ordinance of the City of Arden Hills relating to <br />the regulation of development in the Gateway Business District. <br /> <br />On September 10, 1990 by a 4/5ths vote of its members, the Arden <br />Hills City Council directed that a Summary of Ordinance No. 270 <br />be published in the City's Official Newspaper and that a printed <br />copy of Ordinance No. 270 be posted on the City's Bulletin Board <br />and otherwise be made available for inspection at the City's <br />offices during regular business hours. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 270 establishes development regulations for <br />property located within the Gateway Business District Zone. The <br />Ordinance contains a statement of purpose and describes <br />. procedures which must be followed in order to develop property <br />wi thin the Gateway Business District Zone. The Ordinance <br />contains a listing of permitted and prohibited uses. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 270 identifies development standards which will <br />apply to property wi thin the Gateway Business District Zone <br />including the regulation of building size, landscaping, building <br />exteriors, parking, traffic impact studies, signage, lighting, <br />drainage and utili ties. There is a provision for obtaining <br />variances from the development standards. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Effective Date.
