CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> - ORDINANCE NO. 268 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE I, DIVISION 5, <br /> SECTIONS 5-1; 5-1(A), (B), (C) AND (D); 5-2; 5-3; 5-4; <br /> 5-5; 5-5(A) ; 5-5(A)(1); 5-5(A)(2); 5-5(B); 5-6; 5-7; 5- <br /> 8; 5-10; 5-11; 5-12; AND 5-13; AND ADDING CHAPTER 4, <br /> ARTICLE I, DIVISION 5, SECTIONS 5-1(E) , ( F), (G), (H), <br /> (I) , (J) AND 5-14 TO THE ARDEN HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> RELATING TO GAMBLING. <br /> The City Council ordains that Chapter 4, Article I, Division 5, <br /> Sections 5-1; 5-1(A) , (B), (C) and (D) ; 5-2; 5-3; 5-4; 5-5; 5- <br /> 5(A) ; 5-5(A)(1); 5-5(A) (2); 5-5(B); 5-6; 5-7; 5-8; 5-10; 5-11; 5- <br /> 12; and 5-13 of the Arden Hills Municipal Code shall be amended; <br /> and that Chapter 4, Article I, Division 5, Sections 5-1(E), (F), <br /> (G), (H), (I), (J) and 5-14 shall be added to the Arden Hills <br /> Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 5-l. Definitions. Except as provided herein, the <br /> definitions contained in the Minnesota Lawful Gambling Act shall <br /> apply to the words, terms and phrases used herein: <br /> A. "Allowable Expense" means reasonable sums that are <br /> necessarily and actually expended for the following <br /> . purposes: <br /> 1. Gambling supplies and equipment; <br /> 2. Rent; <br /> 3. Utilities used during gambling occasions; <br /> 4. Compensation paid to members for conducting <br /> gambling on a compensation schedule devised by the <br /> organization for its employees for the conduct of <br /> lawful gambling; <br /> 5. Maintenance of devices used in lawful gambling; <br /> 6. Accounting services; <br /> 7. License renewal; <br /> 8. Bond for gambling manager; <br /> 9. Insurance on gambling activities; <br /> 10. Investigation fee; <br /> 1l. One-third of the amount of increase in the annual <br /> . premium of liability insurance. <br /> B. "Board" means the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control <br /> Board. <br />
