STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS \, RESOLUTION NO. 76-66 RESOLUTION REQUEST I NG RAMSEY COUNTY ACCEPTANCE OF PAYMENT OF BALANCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST HARKINS PROPERTY WHEREAS, Flaherty's Arden Bowl, Inc. has purchased by Contract for Deed from Carl A. Ernst and Harold Kestner, co~trustees of Trust under the Will of Thomas J. Harkins, Dorothy J. Ernst, and Marion E. Kestner, the following described property located in the City of Arden Hills, to-wit: The West 625 feet of the North 872 feet of the East 1/2 of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 30 North, Range 23 West, except or subject to rights of the public in those portions thereof taken for highways, said portions being the North 43 feet thereof, Ramsey County, Minnesota, and WHEREAS, installments of special assessments for Sanitary Sewer Improvement Nos. 1 and 3 and Water Improvement No. 67-1 in the total sum of $1,604.90, ,inclusive of $556.90 interest, have been certified for payment along with real estate taxes due and payable in the year 1977 against said property, and WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation will not accept payment of the deferred balance of said special assessments--the sum of $9,324.75--unless authorized to do so by the City of Arden Hills, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills desires to authorize the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation to accept payment of said deferred balance, NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, that the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation is hereby authorized by the City of Arden Hills to accept the sum of $9,324.75 as payment in full of the deferred balance of special assessments for Sanitary Sewer Improvement Nos. 1 and 3 and Water Improvement No. 67-1 provided payment is made to the Department on or before January 15, 1977. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon acceptance of said payment, 'J 'I T'" " the installments of said special assessments due in the year 1977-' ,r shall be waived, canceled, and annulled.
