STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RESOLUTION No. 76-34 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AND FILE APPLICATION FOR ABATE- MENT OF REAL ESTATE TAXES DUE IN 1976 AGAINST HAZELNUT PARK WHEREAS, on August 11, 1975, by Warranty Deed from C. G. Rein Co., the City of Arden Hills acquired title to Hazelnut Park, and WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Attorney advised the Land Records Division of the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation of said transfer by his letter of August 20, 1975, and WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation mistakenly failed to omit and exempt, as allowed by M.S.A. S275.28, the tract of land comprising Hazelnut Park from its list of properties taxable in the year 1976 which it spread as of October 16, 1975, and WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation has erroneously advised the City of Arden Hills by its statement dated June 23, 1976 that the City must pay 1976 real estate taxes in the sum of $1,268.28 for said tract of land, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, that the Clerk-Administrator is hereby authorized to execute and file with the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation an Application for Relief seeking the abatement of the real estate taxes due and payable in the year 1976 and in subsequent years against said tract of land, identified for tax purposes as District 25, Plat 03300, Parcel 050-56. I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills is hereby authorized to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be filed with the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation along with said Applica- tion for Relief.
