<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION <br />___.9F A JO I NT POWERS AGREEf.1ENT <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS storm water runoff from the tributary area of <br />Ramsey County Ditch No. 12 occasionally occurs In volumes that <br /> <br />overload the existing drainage facilities, causing flooding and <br /> <br />other related proble~$. <br /> <br />WHEREAS Ramsey County Ditch No. 12 tributary area is <br /> <br />within the municipalities of Arden Hi! Is and Shoreview. The <br /> <br />tributary area also includes public lands controlled by Ramsey <br /> <br />County and the Minnesota Department of Highways. <br /> <br />WHEREAS future development within Ramsey County Ditch <br /> <br />No. 12 tributary area is dependent in part on the existence <br /> <br />of good drail1age faci Ilties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci I of <br /> <br />Arden Hi lis that the Counci I authorize the preparation of a <br /> <br />Joint Powers flgreement between the City of Arden Hills, the City <br /> <br />of Shoreview, Ramsey County and the Minnesota Department of <br /> <br />Highways.
