<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-32 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A <br />CONTAMINATION CLEANUP GRANTS FROM THE <br />MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AND RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Arden Hills has approved the Contamination Cleanup <br />grant applications submitted to the Department of Employment and Economic <br />Development and Ramsey County on May 1, 2006, by the City of Arden Hills for <br />the property at 1901 Gateway Boulevard, the ATS Steel site; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City acts as the legal sponsor for the project contained in the <br />Contamination Cleanup Grant Program and that the City Administrator is hereby <br />authorized to apply to the Department of Employment and Economic <br />Development and Ramsey County for funding on this project on behalf of the <br />City; and, <br /> <br />WH EREAS the City has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance, and <br />the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate project <br />administration; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS the source and amounts of the local match identified in the <br />application are committed to the project identified; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City has not violated any Federal, State, or local laws pertaining <br />to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful <br />or corrupt practice; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS upon approval of its application by the state and the county, the City <br />may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota and Ramsey County for <br />the above-referenced project, and that the City certifies that it will comply with all <br />applicable laws and regulations as stated in all contract agreements. <br />
