MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-41 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OJ. PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has bcen let and costs have been determined tor the City of <br />Arden Hills 2006 Pavement Management Program improvement of Siems Court between <br />Lake Johanna Boulevard and the cuI de sac of Siems Court, Arden Place between Siems <br />Court and Snelling Avenue, Ridgewood Road between Lake Johanna Boulevard and Arden <br />Place, Skiles Lane between Arden Place and Snelling A venue, for the reconstruction of the <br />street by the installation of asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, utility <br />repair, landscaping and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $1,689,894,16, and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $397,800 <br />so that the total cost of the improvement will be 2,087,694,16, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council as follows: <br /> <br />I, The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$1,478, 118A I and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is <br />declared to be $609,575.76. <br /> <br />2_ The City Administrator, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall t(lrthwith calculate <br />the proper amount to be specially assessed tor such improvement against every assessable <br />lot, piece or parcel ofland within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br />provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for <br />public inspection, <br /> <br />3, The City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the <br />council thereof. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 31st DAY OF JULY, 2006. <br /> <br />~~ ! i L- <br />, Bever!
