<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE 2006 PMP- <br />RlDGEWOOD NEIGBORHOOD IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has <br />met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />improvement of the City of Arden Hills 2006 Pavement Management Program improvement <br />of Siems Court between Lake Johanna Boulevard and the cui de sac of Siems Court, Arden <br />Place between Siems Court and Snelling Avenue, Ridgewood Road between Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard and Arden Place, Skiles Lane between Arden Place and Snelling Avenue, for the <br />reconstruction of the street by the installation of asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, <br />storm sewer, utility repair, landscaping and necessary appurtenances, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council that: <br /> <br />I, Such proposed assessmcnt roll, a copy of which is attached hereto and madc a part hereof, <br />is hercby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of <br />10 years, unless prepaid, the first of the installments to be payable witb general taxes levied <br />in 2006, collectible with such taxes during the year of 2007, and shall bear interest at the rate <br />of ~ percent per annum from the date ofthe adoption of this assessment Tesolution. To <br />the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, 2006, To each subsequent installment when due shall be added <br />interest for one year on all unpaid installments, <br /> <br />3, If the adopted assessment differs from the proposed assessment as to any particular lot, <br />piece, or parcel of land, the City Administrator shall mail to the owner a notice stating the <br />amount of the adopted assessment. The administrator must also notify affected owners of <br />any changes adopted by the Council in interest rates or prepayment requirements from those <br />contained in the notice of the proposed assessment. <br /> <br />4, The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, to the <br /> <br />\\Metro-ineLuS\ardenhiJls\Adrnln\CounCil\Resojutians\2006\06"47, Adop~ng Proposed Special Assessment Roll 2006 PMP_doc <br />
