<br />, <br />Description of Request . <br />This submittal describes surface parking modifications on the Guidant Corporation <br />campus and the adjacent Arden Woods property recently purchased by Guidant <br />Corporation. <br />Modifications consist of the following: <br />Guidant Drive South: <br />Remove two foot wide center island to allow for 90 degree parking along the south curb <br />line. The existing width of Guidant Dr. So. is approximately 48 feel. The proposed <br />change would provide 18 foot deep parking stalls with a 30 foot wide two-way drive. <br />New Surface Parking Lot: <br />Create a new 157 stall surface parking lot approximately 20 feet south of Guidant Dr. So. <br />and approximately 300 feet west of Lexington Ave. Access to the lot will be via a new <br />curb cut in Guidant Dr. So. that aligns with an existing curb cut to the north. <br />Arden Woods Parking Lot Modifications: <br />Remove 63 parking stalls at the east side of the existing parking lot, adjacent to <br />Lexington Ave. Close the existing curb cut onto Lexington. Construct a landscaped <br />berm, 90 feet wide, between Lexington and the remaining surface lot. The berm will <br />extend /Tom approximately 50 feet north of County Road F to the north property line of . <br />the Arden Woods lot. The berm will be landscaped in a fashion similar to the berm east <br />of Building F. There will be no change in the quantity of handicap accessible stalls for <br />Arden Woods, The parking requirements for Arden Woods will be met through "proof of <br />parking". The proof of parking shall consist of the reconstruction of the 63 removed stalls <br />if they required by future occupancies. <br /> . <br />
