We appreciated the opportunity to meet face to face and resolve the concerns. As I mentioned in my subsequent phone cail to James, we will be including the removal of the center island (in front of the Arden Woods office building) within the scope of work to be completed during the modifications, As was discussed at the meeting. by adding this additional work to the project, we will have met the Fire Department's need for access to the southwest side of the building, Additionally, I will send a letter to Eric directly (copying James and Dave) that will outline the phase out of the outside tenancy of the building, which will in turn provide a timeline for the sprinklering of the site. With these two actions. Eric agreed to withdraw the concern about the Lexington Ave closure ahead of complete sprinklering of the building, With respect to the other comments about the Arden Woods modifications, the address of the building will remain 4105 Lexington Ave North and there will be no less than 13 feet 6 inches of unobstructed vertical clearance from County Road F. . Finally, with respect to the Guidant Drive South comments, we provided plans that were acceptable to Eric which showed the turning radii from either direction, And we agreed to post the north side of Guidant Drive South as "No Parking" in the area to be modified when the project is complete. While I do not . think that his comments will delay Guidant's application, his recommended conditions for approval are fairly substantial. His letter will be included with the report to the Planning Commission and will be included with my recommended conditions for approval. Since at least one of his recommended conditions may affect the timing of the project, I wanted to send you a copy of his comments to help you prepare for the April 5 meeting, If the 3/29/2006
