While that seems like a distant <br /> date, the comprehensive planning process takes a considerable amount of time and effort to <br /> produce a quality, useable product. Over the next several months, Karen Barton and I will be <br /> attending training sessions at the Metropolitan Council to learn about the information <br /> requirements and analyses that must be included with the updated Plan. <br /> Although no action is required at this time, please keep it in the back of your mind that the <br />. planning process is on the horizon and will involve the Planning Commission. The <br /> Comprehensive Plan helps set the stage for what residents and businesses what the City of Arden <br /> to look like and how the City should function in the next 10, 20, an 30 years. Just as important, <br /> the Plan helps all of us understand the role that Arden Hills plays in the metropolitan region. <br /> The Comprehensive Plan is an extremely important document that will require a considerable <br /> amount of staff time and resources as well as community involvement. <br />.
