<br /> WJ w~ wV .' , <br /> I <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - DECEMBER 9. 1996 16 .1 <br /> Mr. Fritsinger announced that Ramsey County will conduct a training academy in February of <br /> 1997 and the City is encouraging citizen participation on Government Cable Access Channel 16 I <br /> by providing information regarding applications. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS I <br /> Councilmember Hicks announced he is unable to attend the next meeting of the Northwest I <br /> Human Services. Councilmember Aplikowski explained she will also be unable to attend. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski explained it has been mentioned with regard to committee structure I <br /> that task forces are too nebulous. She presented her written recommendation and stated she <br /> believes a task force format will take more stan' time than a committee that is revitalized by <br /> subcommittees doing the actual work. I <br /> Council consensus was reached to discuss Counci1member Aplikowski's proposal at the next I <br /> worksession. <br /> Mayor Probst reviewed the notification for the annual Chamber of Commerce State of the Cities I <br /> luncheon. <br /> Mayor Probst reviewed information from Ramsey County regarding a county-wide curfew .. <br /> ordinance and requested staff review potential implications and whether it complies with tile <br /> City's current ordinance. <br /> Mayor Probst announced he will be out of town and unable to attend the Coalition for Healthy I <br /> Youth on Wednesday, December II, 1996. Councilmember Aplikowski indicated she will <br /> attend. I <br /> Mayor Probst stated he has been unable to contact all of the committee chairs but will continue <br /> with this attempt. I <br /> ADJOURN I <br /> MOTION: Keim moved and Hicks seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:03 p.m. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (5-0).
