Councilmember Hicks inquired if this assessment can be flagged in some manner to provide for <br /> re-assessment of this property if the property is ever subdivided and developed. Mr. Miller <br /> stated the City can administratively flag this lot. <br />I Councilmember Hicks stated he would be in support of this motion if the lot was flagged. He <br />I stated he is in agreement that this property's front footage be lowered at this time, but would like <br /> some method of re-assessing in the future if it becomes necessary. <br />I Councilmember Malone stated Councilmember Hicks' request could become an amendment to <br /> his current motion on the table. <br />I Mr. Fritsinger stated the City should have the ability to track any development on this lot. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />I Councilmember Malone asked for a discussion on which matters are to be held over to the next <br /> Council meeting. Mayor Probst suggested holding over Norma Circle south of Royal Lane until <br />I the City Engineers can re-assess this street. He suggested the engineers could possibly combine <br /> this project with a future project. <br />Ie MOTION: Malone moved and Keirn seconded a motion to hold over lots 3-10 on Norma <br /> Circle with regard to Resolution #97-14, and that these properties be removed <br /> from the assessment roll. <br />I Councilmember Hicks reminded those present that pulling these properties off the assessment <br />I roll is for re-evaluation only. He further stated informational meetings regarding these <br /> assessments were held in November of 1996, and no citizens from those properties came forward <br /> to protest at that time. He reminded citizens there is a formal process for citizen input. <br />I The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />I MOTION: Malone moved and Keirn seconded a motion to reject the appeals of the following <br /> citizens: Koch/4286 James Avenue, Yargici/1516 Colleen Avenue, Chen/4262 <br /> James Avenue, Vukelich/I 524 Colleen Avenue, Cossack/1385 Colleen Avenue, <br />I Wigginton/4200 Norma Avenue, Jorgenson/I 501 Colleen Avenue, Boldt/4274 <br /> James Avenue, Lutz/1503 Colleen Avenue, Wilkes/1457 Colleen Avenue. <br />I Mayor Probst requested clarification that all the properties that are on comer lots who have <br /> appealed have been removed from the assessment roll. Councilmember Malone replied these <br /> properties all have been removed. <br />I - <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski commented that the City needs to put in curbs and gutters for the <br />fI protection of the streets, and that this reconstruction is in the City's pavement management plan. <br />I <br /> - <br />
