Commissioner Sand reviewed that Mr. Hjelle <br /> has indicated the President of the College has directed him to obtain bids to demolish the . <br /> building, which he takes as a good faith effort. <br /> Mr. Wilson commented on development of sites that are not contiguous and asserted it would . <br /> have to be housing, open space, recreational use, or sold. He suggested a legal opinion also be <br /> obtained regarding this language. <br /> Commissioner Larson suggested the boundaries of the SUP be shown on the map. Chairman . <br /> Erickson agreed and asked staff to do so. I <br /> Nelson moved, seconded by Sand to recommend approval of Planning Case #96-26, <br /> Special Use Permit amendment (updating the Master Plan to be effective for a 10-year .. <br /> period ending with the 2006-2007 school year), Bethel College, 3900 Bethel Drive, with <br /> staff reviews every five years to review general activity on campus, subject to the <br /> following conditions: . <br /> I. Compliance with the maximum height for structures; <br /> 2. Compliance with the required building setbacks; I <br /> 0 Compliance with requirements of the Shoreland Management regulations; <br /> .,. <br /> 4. Razing the caretakers building at 4040 Old Highway 10 within two years from the <br /> date of SUP amendment approval or within one year from the date of Bethel I <br /> College's next site plan approval, whichever occurs first; and <br /> 5. Ceasing the Friends of Bethel operation to sell Christmas tree at the college after <br /> January 1, 1997; . <br /> 6. ldentifying the limits of the Master Plan to match the legal description of the <br /> SUP; . <br /> 7. Updating the map to identify the Master Plan boundaries; <br /> 8. Revising the Master Plan to illustrate all proposed structures to comply with <br /> current Ordinance standards . <br /> 9. Bethel College will perform a comprehensive traffic analysis and report, and <br /> report those findings to Arden Hills within one year of approval of the amendment <br /> to the SUP.
