All licensed premises shall have the license posted in a conspicuous <br />I place at all times. <br />I Subd. 11 Duration, Proration. All licenses shall expire on the last day of December in <br />I each year. Each license shall be issued for a period of one year, except that if a portion of <br /> . <br /> the license year has elapsed when the application is made, a license may be issued for the <br />I remainder of the year for a pro rata fee. In computing the fee, any unexpired fraction of a <br />.. month shall be counted as one month. <br />I State law reference-Similar provisions, Minn. Stat. ~340A.4II. <br />I Subd. 12 Suspension and Revocation. The violation of any provision or condition of this <br />I Chapter by a beer licensee or his or her agent shall be grounds for revocation or suspension <br /> of the license. The license of any person who holds a federal retail liquor dealer's special <br />I tax stamp without a license to sell intoxicating liquors at the place shall be revoked without <br />1 notice and without hearing. In all other cases, a license granted under this Subsection may <br /> be revoked or suspended by the Council after written notice to the licensee and a public <br />1 hearing. The notice shall give at least eight (8) days' notice of the time and place of the <br />I hearing and shall state the nature of the charges against the licensee.
