We ar~ the owners of property located directly acr055 Highway 10 Southw~st of this proposed d~velopment. Currently th~r~ is an open drainag~ culv~rt that allows water Ie from the North Heights prop~rty to drain across our lot which th~n flows Into th~ Wildlife Refuge. We hav~ been conc~rned about the water flow for this area since North Heights first phase development some twelv~ y~ars ago. This water flow has caused erosion and th~ collapse of "the I culvert op~ning. In tim~s of heavy rain, the water flow l~v~1 changes have caused a part of our property to be flooded by this water, making that portion of our property unusable. I This proposed dev~lopment, a building of approximately 100,000 square f~et and its additional parking will greatly increase th~ hard surface of this area and continue to add to the water dralnag~ issu~ cr~ated on this site. I We f~~1 that "th~ d~velopment and/or City should address this issue and take responsibility to address the issu~ of extending th~ drainage culvert (approxlmat~ly 100 f~et) I across our property which would addr~ss this ongoing problem.
