City Issues - Short Term <br /> a. PrQPosed Trail Expansions <br />I Ms. Walsh will have available for discussion the proposed trail expansions being <br /> discussed by the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />I b. City Sponsorship. Day in the Park Event <br /> The City has received a request for sponsoring an event at this year's Day in the <br /> Park celebration. Staff would like to discuss the position of the Council on the <br />I use of sponsors. <br /> c. 1996 Informal Presentation. Audit Findin~s. Abdo. Abdo & Eick <br />.. Representatives of Abdo, Abdo & Eick will be in attendance to informally present <br /> the 1996 year-end audit results. <br />I d. Gateway Business District fGBm. Feasibility R~port <br /> Staffhas worked with the Engineer to make additions and revisions to the GBD <br />I Feasibility Study. The Council may wish to discuss the impact of this study and <br /> the various options available. <br />I e. ]998 Budll'et <br /> Staff would like to present the preliminary 1998 Capital Improvement Plan for <br /> Council consideration and discussion. <br />I 2. City Issues - Lonll' Term <br /> a. Assessment Policy <br />I The Finance Committee may have recommendations in regards to potential <br /> revisions to the City's current Assessment Policy. <br />I b. Water Meters <br /> The City Council had requested an opportunity to review the Request for <br />I Proposals (RFP) and specifications for the water meter replacement project. Mr. <br /> Stafford and Mr. Post have prepared these documents for Council's review and <br />~ comment. <br />I <br />
