<br /> 'I <br /> I <br /> 1.5 Award of Contract: .. <br /> The award of the contract will be made by the City of Arden Hills to the lowest responsible bidder. I <br /> The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof <br /> The Owners reserve the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days before awarding the I <br /> contract. After the award, the successful bidder will receive notice of award along with the contract <br /> documents. The executed agreement by the successful bidder shall be returned to the Owners <br /> within seven (7) days of the notice of award. I <br /> The Owners reserve the right to hold the returned executed agreement and not to execute the <br /> agreement of up to thirty (30) days. In the event the Owners execute the agreement, they will send I <br /> the successful bidder a notice to proceed, together with the required performance bond forms and a <br /> copy of the fully executed agreement. The successful bidder will return the bond form and <br /> insurance certificate within ten (10) days and begin providing materials within ten (10) days after the I <br /> date specified in the notice to proceed. If the Owners decide for any reason not to execute the <br /> agreement, then the Owners and the successful bidder shall be under no obligation to each other. <br /> 1.6 General: I <br /> WE CANNOT OVERLY EMPHASIZE OUR INTENTIONS TO ASSURE GOOD .. <br /> QUALITY WORK ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF INCONVENIENCE <br /> TO THE PUBLIC.
