'I I 1.5 Award of Contract: .. The award of the contract will be made by the City of Arden Hills to the lowest responsible bidder. I The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof The Owners reserve the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days before awarding the I contract. After the award, the successful bidder will receive notice of award along with the contract documents. The executed agreement by the successful bidder shall be returned to the Owners within seven (7) days of the notice of award. I The Owners reserve the right to hold the returned executed agreement and not to execute the agreement of up to thirty (30) days. In the event the Owners execute the agreement, they will send I the successful bidder a notice to proceed, together with the required performance bond forms and a copy of the fully executed agreement. The successful bidder will return the bond form and insurance certificate within ten (10) days and begin providing materials within ten (10) days after the I date specified in the notice to proceed. If the Owners decide for any reason not to execute the agreement, then the Owners and the successful bidder shall be under no obligation to each other. 1.6 General: I WE CANNOT OVERLY EMPHASIZE OUR INTENTIONS TO ASSURE GOOD .. QUALITY WORK ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF INCONVENIENCE TO THE PUBLIC. IF YOU DO NOT SHARE THIS INTENT AND ARE NOT WILLING TO COOPERATE FOR THIS PURPOSE, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
