At the March 17, 1997, Council Worksession the Public Works Superintendent had presented <br /> Council with a memo recommending the City of Arden Hills begin replacing and upgrading all <br /> of the commercial and industrial water meters. <br /> . Council gave the Public Works Superintendent instructions to proceed with the preparation of <br /> specifications for the project for the purpose of review by the Council. <br /> . Specifications <br /> The Public Works Superintendent has put together the attached specifications for Council's <br /> .. consideration. If Council decides to proceed with this project, staff would immediately issue <br /> requests for proposals, which would be due by Friday, June 13, 1997, at 2:00 p.m. <br /> . Requested Action <br /> The purpose of the proposal is to furnish the City of Arden Hills all necessary meters and <br /> . accessories to provide the City with radio read commercial and industrial City water meters. As <br /> part of the proposal, the supplier would also furnish the City the radio read interrogator and <br /> necessary software to download this interrogator into the City's billing computer. The Public <br /> .
