<br /> I' d' <br /> I CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ~ RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97-32 <br /> I RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SPONSORING A COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION TO ACCOMMODATE THE <br /> I CONSOLIDATION AND EXPANSION OF CPI GUIDANT <br /> I BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills act as the legal sponsor for project(s) contained <br /> in the Business and Community Development Application to be submitted in May of 1997 and <br /> I that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Trade and <br /> Economic Development for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Arden Hills; <br /> I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has the legal authority to apply <br /> for fmancial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure <br /> adequate construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for its <br /> I design life; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has not incurred any costs. has not <br /> Ie entered into any written agreements to purchase property; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has not violated any Federal, <br /> I State, and local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict or interest <br /> or other unlawful or corrupt practice; and <br /> I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon approval of its application by the state, the City of <br /> Arden Hills may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above-reference <br /> I project(s), and that the City of Arden Hills certifies that it will comply with the applicable laws <br /> and regulations as stated in all contract agreements and described on the Compliances Section <br /> (FP-20) of Business and Community Development Application; <br /> I AS APPLICABLE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Arden Hills has obtained <br /> credit reports and credit information from CPI Guidant and their owners upon review by the eity <br /> I of Arden Hills and receiving from Peterson, Fram, and Bergman, no adverse fmdings or concerns <br /> regarding, but not limited to, tax liens, judgements, court actions, and filings with state, federal <br /> and other regulatory agencies were identified.
