City Issues . Short Term <br /> I a. 1998 Budl!'etlCanital Improvement Plan (CIPl <br /> The City Council will be presented with the revised 1998 and 1998 . 2002 Capital <br /> I Improvement Plan. Some additional budget issues will also be presented and <br /> discussed. <br /> I b. Gateway Business District (GBD) <br /> 1. Naegele Purchase Agreement <br /> Ie Staff has prepared a Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of the <br /> Naegele property. Council is being asked to provide comment on the <br /> I Agreement. <br /> 2. Sale of City Land (J(em Milling Site:) <br /> I The City has been negotiating with Welsh on the sale of the former Kem <br /> Milling site. Staff is looking for any additional suggestions prior to <br /> providing this agreement to Welsh. <br /> I 3. Welsh Development Agreement <br /> The Development Agreement with Welsh has been framed out for City <br /> I Council review. Staff intends to present this to Welsh in the near future. <br /> The Development Agreement includes language related to Tax Increment <br /> Financing (TIF), project timing, assessments, and other items. <br /> I d. Water Meter Bids <br /> I Staff received bids for the proposed water meter improvement project on Friday <br /> of this past week. The City Council had previously requested that these bids be <br /> presented at the June 16, 1997 Worksession.
