Our only comment involves development within the shoreland district of Round Lake, I <br /> which is addressed in Item 14. Statewide shoreland setback standards for development require the <br /> doubling of the normal setback assigned for non-water oriented uses. Because Phase I is underway, it <br /> may not be possible to fully apply this s,andard in this part of the site. This being nOled, the "doubled" I <br /> setback should be a.pplied for Phase.< 2 through 4. The buffer zone created by selbacks should be left in <br /> an unmowed condition and any plantings should use nmive species. <br /> Thank: you for Ihe opportunity to review this project.
