.. - - I CITY OF ARDEN HILLS ft RAMSEY COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA I RESOLUTION NO. 97-38 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, I ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS IN THE MATTER OF THE GA TEW A Y BUSINESS DISTRICT (GBD) IMPROVEMENTS I FOURTEENTH STREET NE I WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 30, 1997, the Project Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Fourteenth Street east of West Round Lake Road. including water, sanitary sewer, stormsewer, and street construction, I and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and WHEREAS, a rcsolution of the City Council, adopted the 30th day of June, 1997, fixed a date I for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Fourteenth Street NE east of West Round Lake Road, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street construction; and .. WHEREAS, ten (10) days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 28th day of July, 1997, at which all pcrsons desiring to be heard were givcn an opportunity to be heard thereon; I NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: I I. Such improvcment is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report, I 2, Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated I herein by this reference, are hereby approved. 3, Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution I adopted June 30, 1997, and pursuant to a petition of 35% of the affected property owners, I 4, Howard R, GreenlMSA, Consulting Engineers, was hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement and has prepared detailed plans and specifications for making of such improvement, I ,.
