Approval of Minutes <br /> I The Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the July 28, 1997 Regular Council <br /> meeting. <br /> I 2. Consent Calendar <br /> a. Claims and Pavro\l <br /> I The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of$182,651.93, and payroll <br /> for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payment to MCES <br /> in the amount of $48,322 for August sewer charges; to Arden Hills Development <br /> Ie Corporation in the amount of$28,768.50 for Cottage Villas Tax Increment <br /> Financing (TIF) reimbursements; and to Ramsey County in the amount of <br /> $49,309 for August law enforcement services. <br /> I b. Parks & Recreation Department. Purchase of Snow Blower <br /> . At the July Worksession, the City Council directed staff to begin maintenance of <br /> our trail system during the winter months. In order to proceed with maintenance <br /> beginning this ycar, the City will need to acquire the necessary equipment to do <br /> I so. The City Council is asked to approvc the purchase of a snow blower from <br /> Carlson Equipment in the amount of $6,300. <br /> I c. Call for Closed Executive Session. August 25. 1997 at 6;30 p.m. <br /> The City Council is asked to schedule a closed meeting on August 25, 1997 at <br /> 6:30 p.m. to discuss pending litigation. <br /> . d. Approval of Corrected July 14. 1997 Relj!ular Council Meeting Minutes <br /> The City Council is asked to approve corrections to the previously approved July <br /> I 14,1997 regular Council meeting minutes. <br /> e. Gatewav Business District . Consultant Request <br /> I The City Council is asked to authorize the hiring of a property <br /> acquisition/relocation specialist for the Gateway Business District. This firm or <br /> it individual would coordinate the activities related to any additional land or <br /> easement acquisitions. <br /> I <br />
