Mr. Tolaas anticipated that the Highway 10 to Lexington Avenue portion would <br /> take place two years after the first portion, in 2001. Mr. Tolaas stated that funding was <br /> the biggest issue, but was confident the state would continue to work cooperatively with <br />Ie Ramsey County and the City in completion of the project. <br /> Conclusion <br />I Mayor Probst thanked Commissioner Bennett and County staff representatives for their <br /> attendance, and suggested that a future meeting be held with additional information <br /> available from the City and County. Commissioner Bennett stated that the Cities of <br />I Mounds View and New Brighton should be included in a future meeting, or that their <br /> input should be sought prior to such meeting. <br />. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS <br /> Army Reserve Center <br />I Councilmember Keirn expressed her concerns regarding the lack of communication with <br /> the Reserve Center's Facilities Coordinator, and the limitations this placed on some <br />I activities at the Center. Mr. Fritsinger responded that this was an ongoing problem. <br /> Proposed FCC Le~islation <br />I Staff was directed by Council to proceed with the City's commitment to and $250 fee for <br /> participating in opposition to proposed FCC Legislation, as reviewed and recommended <br /> by Councilmember Malone. <br />I Local Jurisdiction over Planning & Zoning Issues <br />fI Staff was directed to draft a letter to Congressman Vento, and our senators regarding the <br /> City's opposition to planning and zoning cases being determined in District Court. <br />I <br />
