Approval of Meeting Minutes <br /> The Council is asked to approve the Minutes ofthe December 4,1997 Truth-In-Taxation <br /> Hearing. <br />I 2. Consent Calendar <br />I a. Claims and Pavroll <br /> The Council is asked to approve claims in the amount of$199,617.60, and payroll <br />Ie for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payment to Valley <br /> Paving in the amount of $186,000 for the 1997 Street Improvement project. <br /> b. Adopt Official 1998 Meeting Calendar <br />I <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt the official 1998 meeting calendar. <br />I c. Designation of Official Newspaper for 1998 <br /> The City Council is asked to designate the Shoreview-Arden Hills Bulletin as the <br /> official newspaper for 1998. <br />I 3. Unfinished and New Business <br />I a. Res. #97-60. Clarifvinl!: Final Sums of Money to be Levied for Levy Year <br /> 1997. Payable in 1998 <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #97-60, clarifying [mal sums of <br />I money to be levied for Levy Year 1997, Payable in 1998. This action would be <br /> the last action necessary in order for the City to levy funds for 1998. This <br />I resolution is consistent with the presentation at the Truth in Taxation hearing. <br /> b. Res. #97-61. Accellting the 1998 Final Budvet <br />I The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #97-61, accepting the 1998 Final <br /> Budget. There are some changes to this document, from those included in the <br /> Truth in Taxation Hearing. The delay in the bond issuance for the GBD has <br />.- caused those costs to roll into the 1998 Budget rather than the 1997. <br />I <br />
