The fencc pemlit shalJ be subject to approval by Ramsey County <br /> to cnsure that the lines of site are protectcd. <br /> Mr. Lelmoff stated staff had not received any letters, emails, or telephone call from <br /> property owners or occupants in regard to this planning case, However, site plan reviews <br /> are not public hearings and do not require public noticc, <br /> Len Gallus, I I 04 Amble Drive, applicant, stated he was going to put in at least one <br /> junipcr, as weJl as lower landscaping along the fence. He stated he did not want anything <br /> tall on the comer to allow appropriate site Jines. Mr. Lehnhoff noted Mr. Gallus would <br /> not be allowed to put plantings within the public right-of-way. <br /> Commissioner Larson asked if the sitc triangle was protected at this location. Mr. <br /> Lelmhoff responded under City Code it met and exceeded the sight triangle, but they <br /> were still waiting for permission from Ramsey County, <br /> Chair Sand asked if this proposed fence would be in line with the fences to the north, Mr, <br /> Lehnhoff responded it would approximately align to thc existing fences. . <br /> Mr. Gallus stated his neighbor to the north was also intending on putting in a fence, but <br /> he was not sure if he had applied for a pemlit yet. He indicated the main reason he <br /> wanted a fence was for privacy and noise reduction. He belicved he could make this <br /> fence look attractive and the grass would be irrigated on both sides of the fence, <br /> Commissioner McClung moved, seconded by Commissioner Larson, to rccommend <br /> approval of Planning Case No, 06-017, Leonard Gallus, 1104 Amble Drivc, Site Plan <br /> subject to the six conditions as outlined in staff s May 22, 2006 report. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br /> B. PLANNING CASE #06-018: SITE PLAN REIVEW; 1212 LLC; 1212 RED FOX <br /> ROAD <br /> Mr. Lehnhoff stated applicant was requesting a Sitc Plan Review to modify the exterior <br /> of the existing building at 1212 Red Fox Road in the B-4 Zone. Staff recommended <br /> approval of the Site Plan subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted, Any <br /> significant changes to these plans, as detcrmined by the City Planner, shall require <br /> review and approval by the Planning Commission. . <br /> 2, The applicant shalJ obtain the necessary building permits before beginning any <br /> modifications to the exterior of the structure, <br /> 3.
