The warehouse area is approximately <br />10300 SF & is used for storing materials uscd for insulation. The yard area is not used for storing <br />matcrials. Wc arc proposing to add three] 6' wide x 14' high overhead doors & one 12' wide" <br />I 4' high overhead door in order to faeiliMe the loading & unloading of trucks that are sent out to <br />various job sites. The new overhead door materia! will match the existing overhead doors. <br />At the present time there is one overhead door on the south wall at the SF corner of the <br />warehouse & one overhead door centered on the west wall of the warehouse. The existing <br />contiguration limits accessibility to materials which results in excess standby timc for the work <br />crews while trucks are waiting to be loaded & unloaded. The limited access also increases the <br />amount of time it takes to [Dad a truck. <br />The new doors will allow malerials to be'staged inside the warehouse to for more ellieient <br />loading oflrueks in an orderly fashion, This will also allow multiple loading oftrucks & help to <br />eliminate truck congestion in the yard area. The installation of the new doors will not increase the <br />nmount of traffic at the warehouse. <br />Alpine Insulation has 15 office & field employees at this facility. There are ten parking spaces at <br />the south side of the olliee. Tbere is room for additional employee parking in the yard area. There <br />will not bc any increase ofthe impervious surtaces on the site. The yard area will not be used for <br />storage. <br />The new overhead doors are compatible with the llse & appearance of other buildings in the <br />immediate area. There are eight other buildings on Dunlap. Six of the buildings have overhead <br />doors on the north & south sides of the buildings ranging hom onc to eight overheard doors per . <br />side. <br />..'."
