<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />---A~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-31 <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO:-.l RECOGNIZING NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS WEEK: <br />MAY 15-21, 2005 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public works services providcd in our community are an integral part of our <br />citizens; everyday lives; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the supp0l1 of an understanding and infoDlled citizenry is vital to the efficient <br />operations of public works systems and programs such as watcr, scwers, streets and highways, and <br />public buildings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the health safefy and comfort of the this community greatly depends on these <br />facilities and services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the efficiency ofthe qualified and dedicated personnel who staffthe Operations <br />and Maintenance Department are materially influenced by thc people's attitude and understanding of <br />the importance of the work they perform. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Minncsota that the City proclaims the week of May 15th to 21 st as "National Public Works <br />Week" in the City of Arden Hills, all citizens and civic organizations are called upon to <br />recognize the contributions which the Operations and Maintenance Department make every day <br />to our health, safety, comfort, and quality of life. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS <br />9th DAY OF MAY, 2005. <br /> <br />~~~d~,~' <br /> <br />/ Bev y A ikowski, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />vM'~ ~\~~ <br /> <br />Michelle A.
