<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 05-35 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AJ\'D ORDERING <br />ADYERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE 2005 P A YEMENT MANAGEMENT <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills authorized the preparation of detailed plans and <br />specifications addressing the necessary requirements of thc 2005 Pavement Management Plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the 2005 Pavement Management <br />Plan consists of two distinct levels of street repair; the reconstmction of the Dunlap Street and <br />TH51 Access on Grey Fox Road and the mill and overlay of Red Fox Road, Grey Fox Road and <br />Northwoods Drive. <br /> <br />. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in thc fcasibility <br />report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered. <br />3. Plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer for such improvement pursuant to <br />Council resolution, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. <br />4. The City Clerk shall prepare and causc to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon tbe making of such improvement undcr such approved plans <br />and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 weeks, shaII specify the <br />work to be done, shall state that bids wiII be considered by the Council at its regular <br />meeting June, 27, 2004, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by cash deposit, <br />cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 pcrcent (10%) of <br />the amount of each bid. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by tlie Council this 911' day of May, 2005. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />VV\~ vtLJdlQI-< <br /> <br />Michelle A.
